The precision-formed grinding profile helps restore the original shape of the carbide button while controlling material removal and maintaining consistent grinding results.

Our grinding pins are available in different diameters, button profiles and shank connections to match various button bit grinding machines. Suitable options are available for spherical, semi-ballistic, full-ballistic and conical carbide buttons.

Depending on the grinding pin design, the tool can regrind the carbide button only or grind both the carbide button and the surrounding steel body. Optional coolant channels help improve cooling and remove grinding debris during operation.

These grinding pins are suitable for maintaining DTH bits, top hammer bits, threaded button bits and tapered button bits used in mining, quarrying, tunneling and construction drilling.
